Hyderabad: A man makes one last phone call to his friend to rescue him when his car is flooded. One minute and forty-four seconds of the phone call, the call is over, and his dead body found the next day in Abdullapurmet.
With details, Venkatesh Gowd from Hyderabad got out of the car with his friend on Wednesday when Mr. Gowd suddenly noticed that their car was trapped in the floods and he make a call to his friend to rescue them.
Conversation on the phone: During the call, Venkatesh Gowd asked his friend to send someone for help as his car was caught in strong water waves and only one tree stopped the car. And he said, “The car tires are up now. The car is full of water.”
His friend asked Gowda to climb the compound wall or grab a nearby tree.
Mr. Goud answers him. “Yes I can see the compound wall. But if I get out of the car, I’m gone (because of the strong water waves). Immediately he said, the tree that stops the car is also gone now. The car is moving now,”.
“Please be brave. Nothing will happen to you,” reassures as he looks helpless as the car moves away.
After that car was found in Abdullapurmet. Raghavendra and Venkatesh’s bodies were found within 2km of the car.
One minute and forty-four seconds after the phone call, his friend made a desperate plea to save the man. Mr. Goud’s body was later found. Raghavendra, who was in the car with him, also drowned. His body was found Wednesday.
