The India and China military unitedly said in a statement on Tuesday that the seventh round of military talks between India and China was “positive and constructive” and that the two sides agreed to wholeheartedly implement the understanding reached by their leaders not to turn differences into disputes.
Both countries jointly released a press statement that “Both sides have heartfelt, deep and constructive views on the demarcation along the Line of Control(LOC) in the western region along the India-China border,” the joint press release said.
Both came to understanding on to stay in their positions and in their country borders.
At the first informal conference between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in April 2018, both sides stressed that differences should not be allowed to turn into disputes. This understanding has been in multiple statements of the two countries ever since.
