New Delhi: Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj lost his father Mohammad Gaus(53), Siraj is in Australia now to play the upcoming four-Test series. His father died of lung problem.
Siraj did not return to his last rites in Hyderabad due to quarantine protocols. Siraj is currently in the middle of a 14-day quarantine period. He has been on quarantine in the Sydney out cuts after the Indian team arrived in the country on November 13.
Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for Rs 2.6 crore in the IPL auction. Since then he has been representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore team led by Virat Kohli. Siraj said in a recent video posted on social media by the RCB team that his father was suffering from a lung problem.
