Kurnool: Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has told that strict action will be taken against those who responsible for the suicide of Abdul Salam’s family. The victim’s family was assured of relief. CM Jagan visited Salam’s family today at the APSP Guest House. CM. Jagen spoke to victim salam’s Aunt Mabunnisa, Shamshawali, and Shahida. On this occasion, CM promised to give Mabunnisa’s daughter Shahida a job under outsourcing. Similarly, the authorities were directed to take steps to transfer her son-in-law Shamshavali from Anantapur to Nandyal.
In this order, as per the directions of CM Jagan, deputation orders were issued transferring the contents from the Anantapur DMHO office to the Nandyala Medical Health Department. Mabunnisa thanked the Chief Minister for the SCM’s decision. They expressed gratitude to the CM for supporting their family. Meanwhile, CM Jagan, who was responding to the mass suicide of Abdul Salam’s family in Nandyal, ordered an immediate inquiry. In the same way, the government has already Provided financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to Salam,s family. CI Somasekhar Reddy, who is accused in this suicide case, has already suspended Head Constable Gangadhar also suspended and registered legal cases against them.
Before that, Sheik Abdul Salam, his wife Noorjahan, son Dada Khalandar and daughter Salma had committed suicide by falling under a moving train and conveyed through a selfie that they were taking the extreme step unable to bear police harassment.
Chief Minister ordered the police to take immediet action and two senior IPS Officers Sarikha Brata Bag and Guntur ASP Arif Hafeez were drafted to investigate the case. CI Somasekhar Reddy and head constable Gangadhar arrested under various Sections of IPC, including abatement of suicide(306) besides 323 and 324.
